The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire

following in the same vein as UTS, RUTI as in improvement in cohesion and futher melds the dark ambient atmosphere together with the metal, instead of having ambient tracks that set the atmosphere before the metal songs. there is so much to unpack from this album that really requires some dedicated listening.
