Reminds me a bit of Si Monumentum era Deathspell mixed with a bit of Pure Holocaust or something. Cool guitar riffs, bleak atmosphere, solid black metal

This may not be surprising as David Fischer says but it actually is high class russian black metal with all the belonging qualities: the harsh vocals, the freezing guitars, the rousing melodies and the feel good guarantee - at least for me this release of russian black metal is up there with the best.

This is very high quality black metal in the vein of Dark Throne and Deathspell Omega when it was raw, melodic and straight black metal. ★

Upon seeing that Veter Daemonaz was finally about to release a full-length, I almost had a coronary. Greatness was promised and has been delivered! While Trivmph still is superior, Muse of the Damned is exactly what I wished for: 42 minutes filled to the brim with classy, Veter Daemonaz-typical tremolo barrage, cold as the winter and still warming - like a cozy campfire in the middle of an enchanted forest. No surprises here at all, but this does not lessen the impact of what it is. Snazzy!

La traversée du désert n'aura pas duré quarante jours mais quatre longues années... Avec Панихида, Батюшка renaît enfin de ses cendres et, bien que désormais seul (ou plus exactement entouré de deux chanteurs), Христофор accomplit un miracle. Il s'inscrit dans la continuité de Литоургиiа avec un black metal orthodoxe qui nous convie ici à une cérémonie dédiée aux morts. Sa vision est englobante : les mélodies, la gravité et le silence font toucher le paradis ; l'agressivité est luciférienne.
