Ippocalyptica My only criticism of this EP is that it is way too short, but as the quality of each song is high, I am a happy customer. If you have heard the debut album (and you absolutely should have by now), you will know what to expect with the first and third songs, although the band plays with tempos a bit more here, experimenting with a slower song in the second track, For De Falne, to generally good effect. It is also quite possible that Into Ever Deeper Depths is Nordjevel’s fastest song to date, which is saying something for this already hyper-fast Norwegian black metal gem. I am a bit concerned about Nordjevel’s future as they have lost key member Nord since releasing this EP, but no matter what happens, we will always have two great releases from them, and that is enough. Favorite track: Krigsmakt.
